Safehands environmental had been appointed to conduct a environmental clean and watching brief while working in tandem with an appointed demolition contractor for a blue chip company. The property was a newly constructed high specification commercial unit that was completely filled with commercial & domestic waste due to illegal fly tipping over a 6 week period. 

Safehands Environmental had been asked to complete the removal works within a strict deadline due to the continuous lost revenue and unsafe nature of the building, the team worked efficiently and effectively to complete this project on time and on budget. 

in excess of 40 waste bins had been filled with a combination of general, commercial and asbestos waste.   

Safehands environmental had been appointed by a commercial property development client to conduct the licensed removal of asbestos insulating board located in a number of locations within the former Lloyds Bank. 

This required good planning and execution due to the asbestos locations being in three different locations over two floors around the property. the asbestos insulating board had been used in number of different ways which required a number of specialist removal techniques and equipment to enable the safe removal and disposal. 

Safehands environmental had been appointed to conduct a watching brief & hand pick of asbestos bonded materials throughout a new build development over a 3 week period.

Safehands Environmental conducted a desk top study of all Geotech assessments to identify "hot spots" and areas of concern to enable a comprehensive method to be put in place and acted on to enable the civil engineering company to conduct their works in a safe working environment, our team worked in tandem with the excavation teams to identify and remove any ACM's reducing down time and delays for the programme.

The works had been completed under controlled conditions within an enclosure under negative pressure. Safehands had been tasked with removing asbestos textured coating and plaster covering a 14th century walls that are in a delicate condition so extreme care was required and taken during this removal process. on completion the client and heritage team review the area and are more than happy with the results.   

Safehands Environmental had been appointed by a property owner of a seaside prefabricated ACM property. The owner had contacted us due to a rouge company conducting warm home insulations, but where conducting works in an unsafe manner without any controls or safe system of work in place, this lead to significate damage of ACM's and debris throughout the property. Safehands hand been tasked with an full environmental clean and disposal of contaminated furniture, clothing and personal items due to the porous nature of these products.  The property was left in a immaculate condition with the client leaving an excellent review, the project was conducted on time and budget.    

Safehands Environmental had been appointed by a demolition contractor to enable their works as part of a school refurbishment project. We had been appointed to conduct non licensed asbestos removal works in multiple locations. The works consisted of a large scale environmental clean within the loft space of asbestos cement debris as well as floor tile and bitumen removal using specialist floor grinders and vacuums catchment systems. Safehands had been given a strict 2 week deadline to complete our works and handover to the demolition contractor so that they could commence and complete their own works within the 6 week timeframe.
